Jul 13, 2019 · I fixed the problem by turning off my wifi connection. In airplane mode, the Netflix app isn’t trying to connect to the Netflix server. Played my movies just fine. Note: I’m doing this in China….mostly likely, the firewall is stopping me from logging into netflix in the first place.
