Mar 19, 2020 · My ISP just recently offered a promo at 200 Mbps for a smaller amount of money than I was previously paying…and a major increase in speed. I was able to update my wifi adapter driver and saw that I was finally capping out at the 802.11g threshhold of about 50 Mbps. I have yet to research recent developments with wifi adapter capabilities.
