Just get spinning circles. My wife's Win 10 connects and I have my computer also set up on a separate SSD for OSX Sierra, which is how I an accessing this forum.

Update history says there have not been any updates installed, and because my computer doesn't recognize my internet connection it will not check for any new updates. Already done a system restore, though ill likely try again if still nothing works. I'll try downloading for the repair install now.
